RealtyTrac is a company that runs a partly free, partly subscription website [1] that tries to help home buyers and sellers navigate the difficult market conditions caused by the financial panic. Formed in 1996 and based in California, the company publishes America's biggest foreclosure database as well as other real estate market-related data.[1] Its data is widely cited. [2]
